what's our value?

Tentang seseorang. Dan seseorang.

Disuatu petang, Pn L agak sibuk menjawab panggilan telefon.

Pn L mengajak suaminya, Mr A untuk menemaninya.

"Puan N?" Pn L bertanya.
"Ya. Sekejap"

Pn L berdiri di pagar. Tak lama kemudian seorang gadis muncul.
"Pn N?"
"Err..tak"
"oohh..your mother"
"dia order barang apa ye?"
"ni ada *** dan ****"
"berapa ringgit?"
"seventy two. resit ada dalam tu"
(si gadis mengambil bungkusan order)
"tunggu kejap ye"

Pn L senyum.

"HELLO! SIAPA TU?"
Suara tegas dan lantang dari dalam rumah. Pn L agak terkejut. Dia berjalan masuk ke dalam. Tetapi agak tidak selesa kerana tidak dipelawa.
"KENAPA AWAK TAK BOLEH DATANG SINI??" kata suara tadi.
Pn N agaknya.
"i thought i must wait outside, at the gate". Pn L jawab ringkas. Pn L cuba untuk senyum tapi terlalu pahit rasanya.

Pn N hulurkan duit. Tiada sedikit pun perasaan mesra di wajahnya. Pn L tidak mahu memandangnya lagi. Dia sangat sangat terkilan dengan 'budi bahasa' si customer iaitu si tuan rumah.
"Thanks". Lalu dia berpaling keluar. Pn L rasa malu.

"i dont like this customer. i dun want to see her again". Tersekat suaranya, menahan perasaan. Terkejut, kecewa, malu.

Sebelum kereta mereka berlalu,Pn N tiba-tiba muncul untuk menutup pagar.
"Thank you". Kata Mr A sambil menundukkan kepala hormat.
"sorry". Ringkas Pn N.
Pn L hanya diam. Kecewa dan sedih.
.
.
.
The End.

Sekadar renungan.
Dari Abu Syuraih al-Khuza'i r.a bahwasanya Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda:

lesson

i just checked my bountiful mail in my mailbox, when i found this interesting email.
so i referred to my quran translation, just to double check and make myself clear.
i haven't checked the time accuracy but let say we assume it's from a reliable and correct source.
but please..dun get any wrong idea about this. i dun mean to provoke the issue but i honestly think we all should take the lesson. things happen for some good reasons. and the lesson may be addressed to all of us, not just the unfortunates.
He knows best. wallahualam.

kopi & pes

I found this is something interesting to read. So i decided to "copy & paste" here.
As for my reference, and perhaps as a good share.

"Why do Muslim women wear the hijab?"
This was one of the many questions being asked from my husband since our relationship at very early stage. Only that he'd refer it to Scarf, not Hijab.
Then later I found that he made a basic conclusion by his some observation on appearance that later he relate to their race.

Sometime.
"She's Chinese?" (Pointed to some one by roadside)
"No. Malay". My short reply.
"But she not wear scarf?"
Silent.

And some other time.
"Why you like to watch this drama?" (while I was watching drama melayu)
"Interesting story." I replied.
"But they not wear scarf. Not cover hair. They are muslim ka?"
"Yes...."
Silent.

Occasionally that same question offered.

Remind me, I should forward this article to his email.
Source of this article : HERE

One of the major misconceptions about the hijab (covering of the body except the face and hands) is that young women are forced to wear it by their parents or by male family members.

Sumayya Syed, 16, says that what parents or men want have nothing to do with it. In fact, she astounds people who ask by saying that every woman should have this form of liberation.

Syed maintains that when a woman is covered, men cannot judge her by her appearance but are forced to evaluate her by her personality, character, and morals.

"I tell them that the hijab is not a responsibility, it's a right given to me by my Creator who knows us best. It's a benefit to me, so why not? It's something every woman should strive to get and should want."

The young woman admits to being surprised that many people wonder if she wears the hijab everywhere (at home, when sleeping, in the shower). The truth is that Muslim women only cover themselves in front of men who are not direct relatives (brothers, fathers, and uncles) to prevent indecent acts or thoughts.

Another young woman who wears the hijab, Zeinab Moallim, 18, maintains that some people assume that all Muslims who wear the traditional dress are immigrants who don't know English and perceive them as "weirdos".

"I remember in my class when I answer questions, some students look at me like I'm kind of dumb and I can't answer (them)," she says. "So usually I answer, just to let them know I can do things."

All of the young women interviewed agreed that the advantages of wearing the hijab are many. According to Rema Zawi, 16, "You feel modest...and you feel like you're covered up. You have more self-respect. You have more confidence in yourself that you don't need to care about (how) you look."

Syed emphasizes that a major plus is that people actually evaluate her on who she is and not on her beauty or clothing. "It keeps me protected from the fashion industry. The hijab liberates you from the media, brainwashing you into, Buy this, buy that, you're supposed to look like this," she says. "It allows me to be who I am. I don't have to worry about being popular through buying things that are 'cool'."

Hana Tariq, 15, who just recently began wearing the hijab, agrees with Syed's view and says that the hijab lets you know who your real friends are.

"People who are friends with you because of the way you look aren't real friends. And people who judge you by your personality are true friends, because people can change looks but they don't really change personalities."

The young women said the hijab provides them with an identity. They don't have to tell people they are Muslims. It shows.

However, there are drawbacks. Mariam Hussein, 18, was in a store minding her own business, when an old woman came up to her and proclaimed loudly, "Go back to your country!" It was a difficult situation because the young woman considers Canada her home.

Responses to the hijab vary widely. Zawi is one of the few Muslim girls in her school who wears the traditional Muslim garb. She says some students treat her differently by looking at her in strange ways or vandalizing her property. However, she also finds that other students have questions for her regarding the hijab.

"I find that it's so hard for them to ask because they're really shy, so I confront them. I tell them, If you want to know anything, just talk to me." One young woman's first year at Silverthorn Collegiate was especially difficult. A counsellor was looking at her English marks from previous report cards, and said she found them "impressive". But then she made a comment that hurt. "Well, it's obvious you don't need ESL," she said.

The counsellor made the assumption that since the young woman wore the hijab, she had just emigrated and needed to take English as a Second Language. Syed, who attends a school with a fairly large Muslim population, says the people she knows treat her with dignity and the comments she gets from friends and classmates are generally not disrespectful.

"Most people in my life respect me with my hijab: they don't swear around me, they don't crack bad jokes," she says.

Some people may think that the more a woman covers, the less freedom she has. But, according to Muslim tradition, it is actually the opposite. The less she wears, the more she is degraded and the more she is put in the line of fire of male criticism.

Syed is astonished at the behaviour of some women who claim to want "freedom". She can't understand how going topless, for example, represents equality. "People have to understand that we (males and females) are not equal in body image but we should be equal in rights, in justice. Taking off your shirt will not make you equal to a man; it'll make you lower. Why? Because the woman's body is created differently."

Amani Elkassabany, 30, who is not presently wearing the hijab, has a different view. She applauds those who wear the hijab (especially those who wear it for God and with good intentions), but feels that it is not necessary to wear the hijab to gain respect.

"Just because a woman covers, doesn't mean she is automatically entitled to respect, or has already proven the worth of her mind. Respect must be earned regardless of one's appearance and it is not earned through a dress code alone."

Elkassabany sees advantages to wearing the hijab, but thinks that having internal modesty is more important than external modesty. "This external covering is really just a reflection of an inner commitment to dedicate oneself to the worship of the Creator," she comments.

She is also concerned about the restraints wearing the hijab implies, restraints that are exclusive to women. "Both men and women are required to dedicate themselves to God, but it is only women who are expected to demonstrate this dedication outwardly in the form of hijab," she says. "This expectation on the part of [women] is what I find difficult to accept."

Whether the hijab constrains or liberates women is an ongoing debate. However, statistics reveal that in Western society, women and men are perceived very differently.

One study, done at the University of California, found that media photographs emphasize the faces of men but the bodies of women. In the average picture of a woman, less than half the photo (45%) was devoted to the woman's face. In the pictures of men, nearly two-thirds (65%) of the photograph featured the man's face.

The same article reports the results of an experiment conducted with a group of 40 male and 40 female college students. These students were told that a study of freehand drawing styles was under way and were assigned to draw either a man or a woman, capturing "the character of a real person." It was observed that the men drawn had very distinct features, with close attention paid to facial details. However, the images drawn of the women were mostly of the body, with the faces vague or even featureless.

Perhaps, as women de-emphasize their bodies, this severe imbalance will be at least partially rectified. Meanwhile, Islam provides a solution to this problem - one which dignifies and honours all women.

or a make-up call?
no i'm not a face painter. i go about plain & simple.

so tis is about a wake-up call. my neighbor drop by my shop just now with few slices of kek lapis. baked by her fren. samples for order.
i taste 'em. (not all). nice. yummy

then we chatted. she told me about her last operation. surprising. tho we live next doors but we seldom catch up each other. normally just a simple "hai" and smiles.
today i just learned about her endometriosis and cyst. And operation last year, then her regular check ups to gynae and hormone injections then followed by pregnancy and her recent miscarriage!

oh mi oh my! it seems real updates for me this morning.

she told me about her symptoms which lead her to gynae. she had problem with mense cycle which delayed every months for the past a year.
tht's my wake-up call ! i'm having that same problem actually since...i'm not sure. but it has been this irregular since the delivery last four years!!
*gulp*

now i know i really need to extend a visit to my gynae somehow.
sooner is better.
*krrriiiiiinnggg*

di awan biru

*senyum sendiri*

kita suka tengok dia, especially lately. nampak ada perubahan.
dulu masa kita kecik-kecik lagi dah biasa dengar lagu dia kat radio dan tv.
ye lah, sape tak kenal dia kan. bukan takat malaya. rasanya dia ada ramai peminat-peminat jugak kat negara2 jiran.

rumah kita skrg kat atas rumah anak dia. berjiran lah orang kata. kadang2 kita terserempak jgk jiran kita tu tapi tak pernah sapa. kita pemalu sikit. *ehem*

pernah dulu anak dia tu singgah kat kedai kita. tapi dia tak perasan kita ni jiran dia kot.
kita tak femes. lagipun, kita ni kan pemalu. *ehem*

semalam, kita jaga kedai macam biasa. pagi.
kita dok mengemas macam biasa.
almaklum le, kuli sdn bhd. :)
pastu ada sorang wanita datang, nak beli suratkhabar. pregnant, agak dah sarat jugak.
kita senyum macam biasa.
kita berdebar. tapi kita control. kita senyum macam biasa.

kita tak pandang dia directly. kita kan pemalu! *ehem*
rupanya wanita tu isteri dia. si isteri bagi duit bayar newspaper.
"terima kasih"..tu je yang kita mampu cakap.

kita pemalu, rupanya.

dia & isteri berlalu pergi. kita senyum sorang-sorang.
dia masih hensem, kita kata dalam hati.

kita suka.

arini kita tunggu jugak, kalau-kalau dia nak singgah beli newspaper lagi.
tapi..taraaakk...

tapi takpe. kita masih happy.
kita rasa macam di awan biru.
*senyum sendiri*

"berbaloi-baloi...."

perkara

hidup tak selalunya seperti dirancang.

khamis malam lepas, Mr K mengadu sakit perut dan sakit belakang.
i tot it's just normal food poisoning so after tutup kedai at nine, baru bawak dia ke klinik.
tapi kat klinik dia mcm dah tak tahan sgt sakit, almost meraung. cuak jugak.
masuk emergency, ding dong ding dong pkl 2 pagi masuk ward.
doc kata mungkin kidney stone.
again?
bila check dalam rekod, 3 tahun lepas dah kena kes yg sama.
dan dah operation jugak kat hospital yg sama.
adeih.
besoknya...lepas x-ray dan CT scan, confirm kidney stone. doc bg few option. dia pilih nak laser. apa-apa saya setuju je.
operation tu cuma ambik masa sejam. minor.

*berpeloh kejap*
resignation accepted. ye lah, takkan kita nak halang dia nak sambung belajar kan.
cuma ralat lah sikit bila tiba-tiba takde assistant.

anyway, life must go on.
since that saturday, saya full-time di kedai.
seronok dan puas hati sebenarnya bila kita jaga sendiri, cuma rasanya agak terikat.
aktiviti harian re-scheduled.
sesetengah perkara terpaksa ditangguhkan.

hidup tak selalunya seperti dirancang.

musykil

ada seorang hamba allah, 2-3 hari ni saya selalu nampak dia dekat area kedai ni.
first day i spotted him talking to the makcik cafe. and the others.
apparently he had a business deal with them. i care nothing.

yesterday he was here again. approached me, with him it was a blender. glass type, quite big size.
Tujuh puluh je kak.
Tak nak lah, blender kat umah bley pakai lagi.
*frowned* mana dia dapat barang2 nih?

just now, he managed to close a deal with me.
yogurt. very cheap. he brought 5 packs.
i asked,
mana dapat ni?
saya keje kt kilang.
kilang? kat mana?
bukan kilang..kedai..supply barang2 runcit.
*frowned* errmm..bukan barang curi? kalau barang curi saya tak bley ambik. tak berkat saya nk meniaga.
eh tak lah kak...
(but he dare not looked at my eyes)

later, i asked the makcik cafe.
sape mamat tu yang datang semalam tu?
hah kenapa? dia jual apa arini?
tadi jual yogurt kat saya. saya ambik. 5 pek je.
MAT GIAN le tu...dia datang sini aritu jual minyak masak, bawang....bla bla bla. aunty ambik la, MURAH

GULP!

so.
wht shud i do with tht yogurt now?
i dun think i wan to sell them. dah kira macam bersubahat plak.
then, bwk balik kasi ummar minum. dia suka.
tapi...now i know the source is NOT HALAL.
tapi...the deal between me & him is HALAL, kan?
at tht point of transaction, i understood that it's not BARANG CURI.

errrm.
what say you?

perut mudo

ramai yang tanya. "kenapa lama tak online? busy ke? business macamana?"

*senyum*
Alhamdulillah.
jawapan tulus. "takde la busy sangat. tak online sbb takde internet connection."

dan, ada jugak yang tanya. "dah lama tak nampak awak kat kelas. busy ye?"
(dalam hati rasa malu). "takde la busy sangat. biasa-biasa je. cuma lately ada hal sikit, tu yang rasa terikat sikit schedule pagi."

bila difikirkan, urusan dunia memang tak pernah selesai, kan.
dulu masa jadi employee, saya selalu bayangkan...bestnya kalau tak keja. tak payah bangun awal pagi, mandi pagi-pagi. :)
tapi sekarang bila kerja sendiri, pun kena bangun pagi. :)

wallahualam.

drama ni.

biasanya kalau kat rumah si kecik tu je yang control tv channel.
(24 hrs - x hrs) = TV-ON hrs
* x = masa tidur dia.

tapi lately every friday nite this mommy nak jugek berebut remote control. tak kira!
first time i tgk drama tu, i suka background tu. rumah kampung kat sawah padi. hijau...sejuk mata memandang.
soon i realised jalan cerita nya pun menarik.
tak merapik merapu ntah hape2 and tak boring. lain dpd drama2 melayu lain. ekceli dah lama i tak layan drama2 kat tv ni, byk sgt yang ntah hape2 and too streotype. kalau tak cerita hantu and such, cerita polis, cerita "antara 2 darjat" dan seangkatan.

so, ada sape2 yg follow cerita ni jgk tak?

Pahit. Kelat? Perit.

(Surah al-Baqarah, ayat 155)

kembali

recovered.
alhamdulillah. my energy finally has restored to normal level and somehow today i feel much better, after almost a week of kepala pusing & selesema dizzy days.

the other day i told a sister of mine, kalau sakit macam ni masa keje dulu-dulu, sure dah ambik mc tido kat rumah je.
but now, forget the mc. i dun even go to clinic. cos i never bother to drink the drugs tho. so malas la nak membazir. and i worked as usual instead. perhaps it helps to recover, naturally.

what's up & running?
1) i add up some new products available on the shelf. alhamdulillah. but i could not find any good chance to update my online store, yet. dah lama betul rasanya tak ter update. so hopefully soon soonish will be updated.

2) i managed to join kuliah at mesjid here. it's daily kuliah called Kuliah Dhuha but i just started on last friday. kelas org dewasa hehe. it's good. and it's fun. learning is fun.
tho my daily schedule is getting tighter but it's okay with me, bcos this is what i'm looking for when i decided to step out from my comfort zone last year.

3) we'll have a new addition in our family soon. oh no i'm not pregnant yet, if you may suspect. i mean a new sister in-law. yes that lil bro of mine will bertunang soon, end of this month.
the wifey-to-be run a business so i like her immediately. heh.
we just had dinner at her restaurant. she's quite a good cook i must say.
so guys if u looking for thai food and happen to be somewhere around K1nrarA Puch0ng, i'd like to recommend Mango Ch1LL1, First Floor G1anT KinrarA.
i love the kerabu mangga. and pandan chicken. and tomyam.
and surely the infamous pulut mangga. yumms.

sure gemok la adik saya soon.

note to self

i've not been reading for quite some time. pretty long time i guess. neither book nor mags.
so yesterday by a good chance, i pick up a mag at seven eleven.
first time, i never read that mag before. Aniqah.
it's nice, nice pictures and good-to-read articles. not too heavy.

here's one of them i read last nite.
Kemunculan Dajal Petanda Akhir Zaman, page 73.

Note : Rasanya tanda-tanda tu dah banyak yang berlaku.
Maha Suci Allah, semoga kita ditetapkan iman hingga ke hembusan terakhir.

ambo oghe kelate

it's funny sometimes but i always loved to meet and speak to them, those from the same flag.

since i started this business i've met quite a number of them and we naturally become good business frens.
it could be the same mother tongue thingy or maybe simply the budu effects haha but it just feels so natural and so comfortable.
this week only i met 2 new frens, business-ly. They both are suppliers.

Convo 1.
Me : Sorry nak tanya. Oghe kelate ko?
A : Ho. Oghe kelate jugok ko?
...more casual talk then the deal went well, almost casually.
Pesen oghe kito ghetek. A : Ho betul doh. Tapi rama jugok hok nnego berjayo pun. Hok namo-namo besar doh lonih.
Me : *angguk-angguk lagi* (sambil terbayang owner butik Lamees Couture, i used to call her Kak Tini. Very friendly and very humble person. And very rich. One of those jerungs but very seldom i know a real humble jerung like her)

Convo 2
(while introducing some products at kedai)
Me : ...but most of these i get directly from kelantan. *points to the kuih2*...bcause i'm from kelantan. hehe *sengih*
B : laaa...oghe kelate ko? ambo oghe kelate jugok
Me : Laaa...yo ko? hihihiii...

bukan nak mengata

tapi macam tu lah agaknya lumrah dunia.

X-File 1
Minggu lepas ikut kawan pegi pejabat 'tuuuuttt' untuk apply loan. Dia nak submit borang, saya baru nak usha ambik borang. Selepas diberi explanation serba sikit cara-cara dan requirements, saya dah rasa tawar hati nak apply.
Tetapi masalahnya nak kena bagi no keahlian parti 'tuuuuuttt' dan form tu nanti kena ada pengesahan ketua cawangan parti 'tuuuuttt' jugak. Adeih, masalah.
Ini baru nak apply loan, dah kena tunjuk no ahli. Blom lagi mintak yang pree.
hampeh.
Bila bagitau kat The Husband, ternganga dia terkezzut. Sebab tu lah daripada dulu saya maleh nak turun naik lift cari loan, pasal benda-benda hampeh mcm ni lah.
Dulu pernah usha jugak nak apply kat opis diorg yang satu lagi, yang kononnya melindungi hak bangsa kita sendiri. Tapi awal-awal lagi dah mintak percent untuk "fee".
hampeh.
Sudahnya sampai sekarang kitorang korek tabung-tabung kecik otromen sendirian berhad. tak kuasa nak sakitkan hati sendiri turun naik pegi opis diorang, pastu kena daftar ahli ntah hape-hape semata mata nak dapatkan loan yang bukan pree pun tuh.

X-File 2
Abih tu kalau kita rasa kita pandai sangat, apsal kita tak buat sendiri?
Ada berani?
Huh

X-File 3
Selalunya berita baik berkaitan RM memang amat dinanti. Kononnya kompeni lama tuh amat bermurah hati.
Makan pakai mewah mewah dah bukan priority.
Buktinya tengok lah jerawats ku ini. heh
Sudahnya, dipendekkan story...janji wang bonus itu dimungkiri. Tiada apa-apa yang diberi. Bila di tanya, katanya kesilapan jabatan bendahari.

Tidak tercapai di akal ku memikirkan. Takkan le selepas berbulan-bulan takde payslip tetiba tup tup diorang membuat kesilapan. Siap dengan prorate segala dalam perkiraan. Apa diorang ingat kita tak ada akai & perasaan? Setelah di beritakan, hancur luluh harapan.

hmmm..life is like that lah kan?

a little step further

Pretty excited and jittery about new wing that i'm going to fly off tomorrow.

Folks, i'm gonna open a so-called new branch at G1ant KJ placing some health products. It's a booth/kiosk i share with another businesslady. We not share the business but we share the space, rental fee and staff pay.
I pray and hope it's gonna works well inshaallah.
It's located at the Ground Floor opposite the entrance next to Ch1ck3n R1c3 Shop.
Come drop by, you are most welcomed.

On another note.
We had good cheesy time tonite. It's nothing to do with Valentine or whtsoever but I just craved for cheesecake so I made custom order at my Baker Neighbour, who lives a block away from ours.
Here it is. Sedaaaaappp...

* off to fridge for another bite. ala-ala nigella gitu kan? haha*

12 February 2009

saya budak baru belajar

(things i've learned, lately)

1. Housecleaning is the best and cheapest workout session. sweat buckets plus backache too.

2. Those super gadgets for cleaning are just rubbish. We just need a simple cleaning cloth, i mean that kain buruk will do, for a superb cleaning & shining job esp for sink basins.
p.s : i do that for toilet seat, but it's not advised to recycle la hor. :P

3. Wiping aka Osh1n-ing (if u remember that Jap drama long time ago) is much better than mopping. err..I mean, result-wise.
You can see even the micro dirt right before your very eyes while wiping.

4. Same dinner menu for 2-3 days in a row is No Big Deal. Hey, if Jr can survive on that same nasi goreng meal ONLY for almost a year now, so it's no biggie for us too (i guess).

5. I really should revise our @str0 programme subscription. Apparently only channels 613, 815 , 963 (and very very very seldom 701) aired on.

6. G@rd3n1a's ButterScotch bread is a must-have. Very practical for quick breakfast or sempoi dinner.

7. If your Lil Bro is getting busy and serious about his future life with his future life partner, you may not be informed/invited/pictured in the plans & progress. He's just (try, perhaps) being adult. Menyampah!

8. Jerawat reflects youthness youthfulness. That's all. So take it easy.
(denial mode)

9. Tho we are not rich, but we surely still can be happy.
(points below)

10. Patience.
"Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, minta tolonglah kamu dengan sabar dan sembahyang, sesungguhnya Allah bersama-sama dengan orang yang sabar"

changes – the sequel

So we are maidless now.
Hence i was shop-assistant-less too.

It was quite tunggang-langgang initially but soon i started to enjoy my new routines.
Plus we regain our privacy, exclusively.

I took over Cleaning & Washing Department.
The Husband leads the F&B matters. He cooks dinner regularly.
And bathing the Jr.

So far it seems not much problem for us to maintain our small humble abode. It's just small area anyway.

The Bibik called us already few times since she left. She missed the Jr. I guessed so. She asked to speak to him. Actually Jr just listen to her voice without any reply. That is him anyway.
Once during morning call she asked me "Ummar udah mandi?"
Oh yes dun worry I consider I'm such a good mother too. Hehe
I know she just missed Jr, her old routines and probably missed us.
And my selerak-ness sometimes hehe.

Anyway.

Plot 3.
We are not sending Jr to Gen1us AulaD anymore.
Perhaps that class a little too early for him. I really dun mind if he cannot read / write by this year. We just want him to enjoy his playing-hood.

Plot 4.
I have a new shop-assistant already.
Lega lah sikit. But many things-to-do.

Ciao!

28 January 2009

changes

while i was away, some (major) changes took over places here in my territory.
perhaps that explains the off-mode.

Plot 1
we (me) finally decided to re-structure the kedai layout hence resulting a whole new look and concept. i like it now, much better i must say.
hint? come over and feel the difference. chewwah! haha.
so it took the whole stretch of cny holidays. The Husband complained about non-golfing schedule at all thru the holidays but i need his strength to carry the new perabots and whatnots.
plus his critics about arrangement. anyway.

Plot 2.
...to be continued...it's dinner time.
hint : we are now MAIDLESS. my scope of work apparently increase.
howww laaa...

21 January 2009

add a gadget

*point to my sidebar, the one below calendar*

i found this interesting gadget at WaktuSolat.net, while i was tweaking my other blog last two nights (or morning actually?)

now i put it here, cos i think it's good "refreshment" for me and bcos i want to share with others.
nevermind if this is kinda old tool for some.
:)

Just now i caught this verse.

"Orang-orang (Yahudi dan Nasrani) yang Kami berikan Kitab itu mengetahui serta mengenalinya (Nabi Muhammad dan kebenarannya) sebagaimana mereka mengenal anak-anak mereka sendiri. Dan sesungguhnya sebahagian dari mereka berusaha menyembunyikan kebenaran itu, sedang mereka mengetahui (salahnya perbuatan yang demikian)."
Surah Al- Baqarah ayat 146

an "another"

is HERE

Why create another?
Because i think i need a medium in Bahasa Melayu too.

How to maintain few blog site and websites?
Inshaallah. This is part of my new job scope. Among many other job title ie Driver, Despatch, Admin, Accountant, HR. Oh well, that's few to mention.

Have a Good Week!
^-^

raising a genius

how?

i'm quite sure every parent believe that their kid(s) are special.
i mean in any possible way.

so do i.

but i always wonder, how to teach my son to be good, at least better than the one i used to be.
it's quite disappointed to hear this so-familiar phrase like;
"it's no surprise. he is your son. he is just so much like you when you were much younger, remember?".

oh yes. i know i know. i was the perfect example of a not-good kid.
but of course i want my kid(s) to be much better than i am.

anyway. here's another part of it.
today i had a discussion with the kindy principal. she alerted their concerns about my special little hero. so far (up to 2nd week now) he still refuse to join their programs ie learning activity such writing, reading and such. he plays well but he just mind his own business and too much occupied by his own interest.

hmm.

what should i do? so she suggested a therapist.

once (or twice) some time ago the Paed had highlighted about consulting a speech therapist but i tried to reason by giving a chance for Jr to speak naturally so we send him to school and daycare instead. let him into the environment with other kids so perhaps they will start communicating.

maybe now i should turn into Option A again.

but just i feel quite disturbed again by these coming special session.
maybe i'm quite nervous too.

anyway, he's always my special little genius, nevertheless.

12 January 2009

po cho po cho

i was accidentally bumped into this yesterday.
i mean, the real class. all these while i didnt know they'r having this weekly class right here near my shop.
hey, it's fun indeed. i never tried this before. and it's sweaty session too. i tot it's just simple small steps but berbelit belit lah jugak kaki ku haha.

Disclaimer : This is just a sample vid. It's not the one i accidentally attended yesterday.

So, pocho-pocho anyone?
^_^

skool-lah (part II)

i refrain from explain much.
it wasnt really pleasant first week. anyway.

First Day
not so bad tho he cried at the entrance door but tht's just so normal for me.
pretty expected.
later managed to have breakfast with Mr Kojax-No-More while waiting for them time-out.

Second Day
very very very bad. unexpectedly.
*geleng-geleng kepala, tutup mulut*

Third Day
The Husband accompanied send him to school. He had no other choice but being a good boy.
*tak aci*

Today
He catch flu. So we decided to grant Day Off.
*bertuah*

Saya dah lama tak makan KayEfSee semenjak saya menjual hayam.

Saya suka masak meggi sebab cepat. Tapi bukan lah selalu, cuma kadang-kadang.

Kalau kita nak terlalu detail tentang setiap produk, memang agak mustahil rasanya.

Astaghfirullah...sempitnya pemikiran.

another branch

presenting my other blog dedicated for online shopping site.
as you may know about my other website for kids stuff, KidsLittlePalace.com anyway finally I've decided to close it down soon due to my own dissatisfaction about few items.
I was thinking to revamp the site but instead of "throwing" another dollars and cents i 'd just make do with this simple, handy and free site.
i bet everybody knows we could do more here at blogspot other than just a blog.
"manipulating" you may say but heck i'd go for free stuff at least for this gawat period now.

so ladies and gents, you are cordially invited to hop to my new site on the block here.
obviously it was safely born last nite and inshaallah i'll keep updating from time to time.

Why DodoiManjaa?
It's one of many other pet names for my buah hati pengarang jantung.

sempat layan jap

Cinta Gila!

skool-lah

I can imagine parents nervousness (maybe) days before schools re-open tomorrow. it's today morning actually. especially those first timers like me.
i guess them kids just much-less bother. hich!

The Husband not working tomorrow, officially on Company's Calendar Off Day observed as "School Day". At first when he told me about it, i was like..."eh? are you sure?"
Pelik. Maybe most of them take leave on the first day school every year so might as well bagi je cuti, gitu? Heh

Speaking of which, I dun get that vibes so much, yet. The Jr (and me) brand new kindy-ing day starts on 7th, Wednesday. We'll have 3 days of so-called orientation week. Kids & parents. I should get ready for the "training" much more than him. Isk.

Physically and materially (bley?) we are quite equipped. Lagipun apa lah sangat nak prepare pun for Turn To-4-Year-Old Kindy-goer.
Uniform, Bag, Socks, Shoes. And small tumbler.

hmm..macam manalah agaknya. I just want him to enjoy this new environment.
